Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid tribute to Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today paid homage to the great revolutionary, ardent nationalist thinker and freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar by offering floral tributes to his photograph on his death anniversary at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital Raipur.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Veer Savarkar was not only a freedom fighter, but also a visionary thinker, social reformer, prolific writer-poet, and a brilliant historian. He provided new ideological energy to the Indian freedom struggle and played a crucial role in spreading the spirit of patriotism to the masses.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Savarkar’s sacrifice, struggle, and indomitable courage for the freedom of the motherland are etched in golden letters in Indian history. Despite the inhuman tortures of Kalapani, his dedication to the nation remained unwavering. His entire life is a source of inspiration for patriotism, self-confidence, and national pride.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Veer Savarkar’s thoughts still inspire youth to build the nation. We must embrace his ideals and continuously strive to build a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India.

On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Authority, Mr. Bhupendra Savanni, Press Officer of the Chief Minister, Mr. Alok Singh, Mr. Ram Garg and other public representatives were present.
