- Announcement of giving incentive amount of Rs 5,000 each

Specially talented school children from the remote tribal and forest block of Nagari in Dhamtari district paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. The Governor expressed his satisfaction with the children’s talent and achievements and wished them a bright future.
Twenty-two children from this group have been selected for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination 2026, while five excelled in spoken English. A video created by Kumari Garima Sahu, a seventh-grade student and AI video creator, was also screened, which Governor Shri Deka commended and encouraged her to continue.

The Governor also honored the teachers who contributed to these children’s success and emphasized the crucial role teachers play in nurturing children in remote areas despite limited resources.
While interacting with the children, the Governor emphasized the importance of setting goals in life. Success can only be achieved through consistent hard work and dedication. Expressing his delight at the achievements of the government school children, he said that this success is inspiring for other students.
The Governor encouraged all the children present, announcing an incentive of 5,000 rupees each. He urged them to use this money for their education and other essential needs. They were also provided with piggy banks to help them develop the habit of regular savings.

On this occasion, Governor’s Deputy Secretary Mrs. Nidhi Sahu along with public representatives of the area, village sarpanch, head teachers of the concerned schools and teachers were present.
