Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang has launched a new initiative and decided to organize the summer camp “Aaroha-2026” in a new format. This time, personality development and creative activities are also being included in the summer camp. Addressing a meeting of all the state’s sports officials held at the Tatya Tope Sports Stadium on Thursday, Minister Shri Sarang informed about the new activities in the summer camp.Summer camp will start from May 1st.

Minister Shri Sarang said that summer camps will begin in Bhopal and elsewhere on May 1st. Registrations can be made starting April 18th by visiting the Sports and Youth Welfare Department’s official website and scanning the QR code. He urged all sports officials to collaborate with youth coordinators to organize events and activities at the block and village levels.Summer camps should help in building strong personalities

Minister Sarang said that the Sports Department’s summer camp “Aaroha-26” should be known to both urban and rural areas of the state, and people should participate. This summer camp should be known as a movement, like the Fit India Movement, the Swachhata Abhiyan, etc. Similarly, this summer camp should not only be activity-focused, but should also send a positive message of connecting children, families, and society. Our aim is not only to develop talent but also to build a strong personality that will become the pride of the family and the foundation of the nation and society.

Minister Sarang stated that our primary objectives are to develop sports infrastructure, provide talent-nurturing coaches, and discover talent. Coaches also play a crucial role in shaping athletes and shaping youth into athletes. Sports can be the key to the overall physical and mental development of youth. The department’s primary focus is to connect youth with sports and promote their well-being, which can be achieved through mental and intellectual development. Awareness programs and counseling programs can also be included for this purpose.

Sports Director Mr. Anshuman Yadav and Joint Director Mr. B.S. Yadav along with sports officials of the state were present in the meeting.
