- Get the repair work of Rewa bypass bridge completed within 15 days.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla reviewed various construction projects at a meeting held in the new Circuit House auditorium. He said that administrative approval of Rs 11 crore has been issued for the construction of a 100-seater hostel for Polytechnic College students. Construction work should begin on the college campus for girl students and on land identified by the Revenue Officer in Nirala Nagar for boy students. Additionally, the Polytechnic College has been approved to construct a sports complex at a cost of Rs 144 lakh. Technical officers should immediately begin the approved work.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla said that the work of improving the bridge on the bypass road must be completed within 15 days. Due to the closure of traffic on the bridge, the public is facing difficulties due to traffic jams in Rewa city and surrounding areas. Even at night, the roads remain busy due to wedding ceremonies. In such a situation, it is difficult to take heavy vehicles out of the city. The work of widening the bypass road should also be completed within the stipulated time frame. The Collector should continuously monitor the construction work.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla said that administrative approval has been issued for improvement work to prevent accidents at Sohagi Ghat. An amount of more than 14 crore rupees has been approved for this. The Forest Divisional Officer should issue approval for the construction work soon so that construction work can begin. In the meeting, MPRDC in-charge GM Anshul Karodiya informed that the work of improving the bridge on the bypass will be completed by April 30. The Forest Department had previously granted permission for construction work in Sohagi Valley. An online application has been made for the new work. Construction work will begin as soon as permission is received.
District Panchayat President Mrs. Neeta Kol, Municipal Corporation President Mr. Venkatesh Pandey, Municipal Corporation In-charge Commissioner Mr. Mehtab Singh Gurjar, Forest Divisional Officer Lokesh Nirapure, Mr. Shailendra Shukla, SDM Huzur Dr. Anurag Tiwari and representatives of construction agencies were present in the meeting.
