Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan inaugurated the women’s police station.

Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan formally inaugurated Korba district’s first women’s police station by cutting the ribbon at the Civil Lines police station premises in Korba on Friday. On this occasion, Minister Shri Dewangan stated that this police station will be the district’s first women’s police station, which will not only help prevent crimes against women but also ensure prompt resolution of their complaints. Following the inauguration, Minister Shri Dewangan formally inaugurated Inspector Bhavna Khandekar as the station in-charge. Police personnel, including the station in-charge, have been deployed at the station.

Minister Shri Dewangan stated that this women’s police station is an important initiative prioritizing women’s safety. The objective of this women’s police station is to ensure that women have a safe place to protect their rights. On this occasion, Minister Shri Dewangan honored the children of this family who performed exceptionally well in various examinations. He also announced the installation of a water cooler on the police station premises. He also released a pamphlet on how to prevent fires that commonly occur during the summer.

On this occasion, Mayor Smt. Sanju Devi Rajput, District Panchayat Chairman Shri Pawan Singh, Collector Shri Kunal Dudawat, Superintendent of Police Shri Siddharth Tiwari, Smt. Preeti Swarnkar, Councilor Shri Ashok Chavalani, Councilor Shri Chandralok Singh, Shri Yogesh Jain and other dignitaries were present in large numbers.
