Energy Minister Shri Tomar conducted surprise inspection of Civil Hospital Hazira, Birla Nagar and other power stations at night.

Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar went on a surprise inspection late Saturday night. He visited the Motijheel and Bahodapur power substations, where he inspected the power distribution system. He inquired about maintenance, power supply, and complaints. During the inspection, he inspected the substation office and inquired about basic facilities from the staff. He said that the situation should be improved, otherwise next time I will not only issue a warning, but direct action will be taken.

Energy Minister Shri Tomar suddenly arrived at Civil Hospital, Hajira, at night. During his inspection, he expressed his displeasure when he found the air conditioner out of order in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the heat and directed the hospital management to have it repaired. Minister Shri Tomar bluntly stated that such negligence in highly sensitive wards was unacceptable. He called the hospital in-charge, Dr. Prashant Nayak, from the spot and instructed him to immediately rectify the situation. Minister Shri Tomar inspected not only the machinery but also the human resources. He questioned the doctor on duty about the number of staff deployed at night, what emergency backup arrangements were in place, and whether all essential life-saving medicines were available in stock. Energy Minister Shri Tomar instructed the hospital administration that negligence in providing patient care would not be tolerated at any level.

The Energy Minister also conducted a surprise inspection of the Civil Hospital and Maternity Home in Birla Nagar to review the health facilities. He reviewed the hospital’s functioning and spoke with the doctors and staff present. During the inspection, the Energy Minister visited the wards and had cordial meetings with the patients undergoing treatment and their families. He inquired about their well-being and the facilities provided by the hospital. He also issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials to ensure cleanliness in the hospital premises and provide high-quality medical care to the patients. He stated that providing accessible, transparent, and quality health services to the public is the government’s top priority. He is fully committed to serving the public and ensuring their health.

The Energy Minister reached Manoranjanalaya Park from Birla Nagar Maternity Home and inspected the electricity, lighting and other basic arrangements there. He took stock of the actual situation of the night time arrangements and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

The Energy Minister inspected the Bada Park in Anand Nagar and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Park in Sheel Nagar (Bahodapur) and took stock of the nighttime arrangements. During this, he inspected the lighting, cleanliness, security and other essential facilities in the park and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. During this, he said that as a public representative, it is the responsibility of your servant that our public places should not only be beautiful but also safe. During his visit on Saturday night, he made it clear that negligence towards work by officers and employees will not be tolerated.
