- Will review the progress of rural development schemes and interact with Panchayat representatives and self-help groups.
Shri Kamlesh Paswan, Minister of State for Rural Development, Government of India, will be visiting Chhattisgarh on May 13th and 14th, 2026. During his two-day visit, he will review the progress of various schemes under the Ministry of Rural Development and interact with public representatives, officials, and beneficiaries involved in rural development.
On May 13th, Shri Paswan will hold a review meeting with state-level officials. The meeting will comprehensively review the implementation and progress of various schemes of the Ministry of Rural Development, including the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), and National Social Assistance Program (NSAP).
He will also review the preparations related to VB-G Ram Ji and the rural development activities being carried out in the Gram Panchayats. During Shri Paswan’s visit, a seminar and dialogue program is also planned with Panchayat representatives and public representatives, where various topics related to rural development will be discussed. On May 14th, Union Minister of State Shri Paswan will observe the successful implementation of rural development schemes and innovations and meet with beneficiaries. During this, he will directly interact with women from self-help groups and beneficiaries of various schemes.
