Chhattisgarh Government’s Tourism and Culture Minister, Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, visited Hariharpur village in the Udaipur development block of Surguja district as part of the Jandarshan program and held a cordial meeting with the villagers. During this, he listened seriously to the villagers’ problems, needs, and development-related demands and provided necessary guidance to the concerned departmental officials for their prompt resolution.

A large number of villagers attended the public hearing. People raised their issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity, revenue, health, and other basic amenities with Minister Mr. Agarwal. Minister Mr. Agarwal stated that the government’s priority is to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the last person and that public problems are resolved in a timely manner.

Minister Shri Agarwal said that direct communication with the public and connecting with public sentiments is the true foundation of good governance. The state government is working with full commitment and sensitivity to fulfill the expectations, trust, and development commitments of the region’s residents. He directed officials to seriously examine the applications and complaints received and ensure their prompt resolution, so that the public does not face unnecessary inconvenience.

Minister Shri Agarwal also informed the villagers about the government’s various public welfare schemes and stressed the need to ensure that the benefits reach eligible beneficiaries. He stated that the government is continuously working to improve the living standards of the villages, the poor, farmers, and the marginalized. Local public representatives, administrative officials, and a large number of villagers were present at the event.
