- ‘Farmers are getting agricultural inputs on time under the good governance of the Chief Minister’
Nano Urea and Nano DAP (liquid fertilizers) are revolutionary innovations in agriculture. They are used in much smaller quantities than traditional fertilizers (granular urea and DAP) and provide rapid nutrient delivery through direct contact with the plant. Thanks to nanotechnology, they are extremely small (20-50 nanometers). They penetrate directly into plant cells and provide essential nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus), facilitating good crop growth and increased yields.
Under the good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the district administration has made extensive preparations to ensure farmers face no inconvenience during the upcoming Kharif season. Adequate stocks of fertilizers and improved seeds have been established through the district’s cooperative societies, ensuring farmers receive essential agricultural inputs on time. Farmers are now able to obtain fertilizers and seeds as needed without any difficulty.
“Farmer Chhedilal is prospering with modern farming.”
Compared to heavy bags of traditional fertilizers, nano urea and nano DAP bottles are much cheaper and more economical. Nano fertilizers negate the gaseous emissions and leaching (leaching into the ground with water) caused by conventional fertilizers, reducing soil, water, and air pollution. In this context, Mr. Chhedilal Oraon, a farmer from Dhelwadih village in Korba district, has obtained fertilizer and seeds for the upcoming Kharif crop from the cooperative society in Sonpuri development block.

Mr. Oraon, who cultivates approximately 5 acres of agricultural land, has a family of 6 to 7 members who are entirely dependent on agriculture, primarily cultivating paddy. Mr. Oraon stated that he has purchased urea and DAP fertilizers for this season. Additionally, he will sow dhaincha and mung beans as green manure on his 1 acre of land to increase soil fertility.
“Nano Fertilizers Show Miraculous Results”
Farmer Mr. Oraon shared his excellent experience using Nano Urea and Nano DAP, stating that they had benefited significantly last year. Nano DAP ensures quick and effective delivery of nutrients to plants. He added that it helps maintain the soil’s biological quality and fertility. Along with environmental protection, it also promotes sustainable agricultural practices and controls farming costs.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister,
Mr. Oraon said that with the incorporation of modern agricultural techniques and nano-fertilizers, farming is now proving to be a more profitable business. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai for ensuring timely availability of fertilizers and seeds, and for strengthening the agricultural sector. He said that this government initiative is a crucial step towards making farmers self-reliant, modern, and prosperous.
