A meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee was held today at the Ministry’s Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Mr. Dayaldas Baghel. Committee members, Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister Mr. OP Choudhary, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, and Revenue Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma, participated in the meeting via video conference.
In the meeting of the Sub-Cabinet Committee, the execution and custom milling of paddy purchased at the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2025-26 and preparations for paddy procurement in the upcoming Kharif season were discussed. Food Department Secretary Smt. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale, Finance Department Secretary Shri Rohit Yadav, Cooperative Department Secretary Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Markfed MD Shri Jitendra Shukla, Mandi Board MD Shri Mahendra Singh Savanni and other concerned senior officers were present in the meeting.
