Governor Shri Ramen Deka presented a digital board to the school in Marka village of Bemetara district at Lok Bhavan.
Shri Deka donated this 65-inch smart board from his voluntary donation for the convenience of the children of the government middle school in Marka Gram Panchayat. Villagers reported that their school had a teacher but lacked a smart board. Now, with this facility, the school children will be able to prepare for admission to elite schools like Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School, and Prayas Vidyalaya.
The villagers presented the Governor with organically produced pulses, chickpeas, and other items.
The Governor’s Secretary, Dr. C.R. Prasanna, officials from the Gram Panchayat, and the Chairman of the School Management Committee were present on the occasion.
