MATS School of Design organised its highly appreciated annual fashion show Fashionotsav 2026 on the 19th 0f June 2026. It was a spectacular evening celebrating talent, creativity and an expression of confidence.
The evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Mrs. Anubhaa Tah Goel (IRS), Commissioner of Income Tax Raipur, Guest of Honour , Mrs. Vimla Nawariya (ICAS), Special Secretary Department of Higher education-Chhattisgarh, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. K. P. Yadav, Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. Deepika Dhandh, registrar Shri Gokulananda Panda and Ms. Parvinder Kaur, Head of the School of design. The Chief Guest in his/her address praised the efforts of the team in arranging a creative show.
The spectacular eight round fashion show commenced with a regal Mughal bridal sharara collection by final year students. Next, special children from Government school of Physical disability beautifully presented an eco friendly nature round focused on water conservation. The third segment featured bold geometric shapes in striking red, followed by an innovative winter blanket theme turned into wearable art. An intricate knitwear round came next, leading seamlessly into a vibrant orange semi formal collection. The creative plant inspired round paid a gorgeous tribute to nature’s design. Finally, the sophisticated designer round concluded the event with rich shades of brown, perfectly blending heritage, craftsmanship, and timeless fashion style. The Honourable Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagariya and the Respected Director General Shri Priyesh Pagariya conveyed their best wishes and congratulated the entire team MATS School of Design for making Fashionotsov 2026 a grand success by phone.
