Dhamtari district has achieved a proud milestone in the field of quality, innovation, and institutional excellence in technical education. Bhopal Rao Pawar Government Polytechnic, Dhamtari, has achieved third place in the state in a comprehensive quality assessment of Chhattisgarh’s government polytechnic institutions conducted by the Quality Council of India (QCI). This achievement is a testament to the institute’s quality education, effective management, modern infrastructure, skill development, and student-centered learning environment.
The assessment by the Quality Council of India comprehensively examined various aspects of the institute, including academic activities, infrastructure, employment and placement, effective utilization of available resources, institutional management, and overall quality standards. By achieving excellent performance on all these parameters, the institute has secured its place among the leading technical educational institutions in the state.
Collector Mr. Abinash Mishra heartily congratulated the institute’s principal, professors, officials, staff, and students on this achievement, saying, “Bhopal Rao Pawar Government Polytechnic achieving third place in the state in the evaluation conducted by the Quality Council of India is a matter of pride for the entire district. This success is an excellent example of quality education, a disciplined academic environment, innovation, and collective efforts. The district administration will continue to provide support to make technical education more efficient, employment-oriented, and innovation-based, in line with the needs of industry. We are confident that the institute will establish its unique identity not only at the state level but also at the national level in the future.”
Institute Principal Mr. Amit Mishra stated that out of the 120 graduating students in the year 2026, more than 100 have secured employment in various prestigious industrial and commercial institutions, which is a testament to the institute’s quality technical education and excellent coordination with industries. Selected students received a minimum salary package of ₹1.80 lakh, an average of ₹3.03 lakh, and a maximum of ₹5 lakh annually. The remaining students are also being selected.
He informed that students have been selected by several prestigious companies including Maruti Suzuki, Nuvoco Vistas, Welspun (Gujarat), Shri Balaji Engineering Consultants (Bhilai), Tata EV Motors, Apollo Building Products (Raipur), Fixing Dot (Raipur), Kesar Earth Solutions (Raipur), Daikin AC, Icon Solar (Raipur), Mahendra Construction (Raipur), and Rico Auto Industry (Bawal, Haryana).
The institute management attributed this achievement to the collective cooperation, dedication, and sustained efforts of students, faculty, officers, staff, alumni, and all stakeholders. The institute is continuously working to provide quality technical education, skill development, research and innovation, industry-institute coordination, and improved employment opportunities.
It is noteworthy that over the years, Bhopal Rao Pawar Government Polytechnic, Dhamtari, has focused on developing modern laboratories, expanding digital learning resources, skill-based training, coordinating with industries, and developing students’ personality and employability.
