The state government’s ambitious Rural Livelihood Mission “Bihan,” aimed at empowering rural women and making them self-reliant, is creating new stories of change in every village. In this context, Mrs. Usha Rathore, a resident of Mandpur, a dependent village of Lalpur in the Gaurela development block, has given her life a new direction by joining a self-help group. Today, she has not only become self-reliant but is also strengthening her family’s financial situation.
Mrs. Usha Rathore is an active member of the Saraswati Mahila Self Help Group. After joining the group, she received financial support, training, and the opportunity to expand her business. Usha Rathore explained that joining the self-help group has brought significant changes to her life. Now, her shop generates a regular income of 10,000 to 12,000 rupees per month. This has improved her family’s financial situation, making it easier to meet household needs, including her children’s education.
Usha explained that the funds she receives from the government’s Mahatari Vandan Yojana are also proving to be very helpful. This timely assistance easily meets small household needs, providing financial support to the family. Usha
