Heart of Madhya Pradesh and ‘Zheelon Ki Nagri’, Bhopal is witnessing a historic and glorious event these days. The BRICS conference is not only acting as a cultural bridge between countries but also reviving the sacred spirit of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhin: – Harmony for All’. The main objective of the conference is to bring together the rich cultural diversity and ancient traditions of the BRICS countries on one platform, promote artistic collaboration and establish traditional humanitarian values on the world stage.
Bhopal’s tourist attractions and experiences have enthralled the BRICS delegates. Madhya Pradesh Tourism has organized special tour programs for the guests. The delegates got to experience the architecture of Bhopal’s historic sites Gauhar Mahal, Iqbal Maidan and the historic Moti Masjid through the Heritage Walk.
Acquainting with the natural beauty, the delegates appreciated the biodiversity of the Van Vihar National Park and enjoyed a hunting excursion in the Upper Lake (Bada Talab). Meanwhile, he described bird watching as a memorable and unique experience of his life. In the next leg of the tour, guests get a wonderful glimpse of handicrafts and local culture in Bhopal’s vibrant markets—Chawk Bazar, Naya Bazar and Bhopal Haat. Appreciating their visit to India and especially the warm hospitality of Bhopal, the delegates recognized that Bhopal not only preserves its glorious past but is also one of the best centers of hospitality in the world.
