Chief General Manager of SBI Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma pays courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Chief General Manager of SBI Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Circle Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence office today. He presented a flower bouquet and a memento of Bastar Art to the Chief Minister.

At the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai and Shri Sharma discussed various topics related to the banking sector in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister said that banks play an important role in making government schemes easily accessible to common people. Bank branches should be further expanded to the remote areas of Chhattisgarh state, especially villages, so that more and more people in remote areas can become a part of the banking system. During the discussion, Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized on increasing financial inclusion in the state and connecting the people of rural areas with banking literacy. Shri Sharma informed Chief Minister about the steps being taken by the State Bank of India in this direction and the future action plan. Deputy General Manager Raipur Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha was also present on this occasion.
