Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid respectful tribute today to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya—the proponent of ‘Integral Humanism’ and an ardent nationalist thinker—by garlanding his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital, Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that through his ideas and principles, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya presented a vision for the holistic development of the nation that places the last person in society at its core. His entire life was dedicated to serving the nation, public welfare, and the upliftment of the weaker and deprived sections of society. The Chief Minister remarked that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya believed development is truly meaningful only when its benefits reach the person standing at the very end of the social spectrum. His principle of ‘Antyodaya’ inspires efforts to integrate the poor, the deprived, and the needy into the mainstream of development, making them self-reliant and empowered.
Chief Minister Shri Sai noted that observing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary as ‘Antyodaya Diwas’ reflects the resolve—aligned with his ideals—to ensure the welfare of the last person in society and bring about positive changes in their lives. His philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya continues to serve as a source of inspiration for nation-building and public welfare today. The Chief Minister affirmed that, by embracing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s principles of Antyodaya, the state government is committed to the welfare of every section of society and to ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person.
