Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel chaired a high-level meeting today at the Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan) with the Secretaries in-charge of all state government departments. He conducted a thorough review of the implementation of departmental schemes and the progress of key tasks. The Chief Secretary issued clear directives ensuring that cases concerning retiring officers and employees be resolved prior to their actual retirement. Secretaries were instructed to prepare department-wise periodic lists for this purpose.
Directives were issued to complete the recruitment process swiftly by preparing staffing structures (setups) for vacant and backlog posts across departments. Additionally, the Chief Secretary asked all Secretaries to regularly monitor the implementation of their respective departmental schemes.
- Public Service Guarantee and Other Portals
Schemes related to the Public Service Guarantee, Right to Information (RTI), Seva Setu, PM Pragati Portal, e-Pragati, de-regulation, and rural development were reviewed during the meeting. It was reported that approximately 728 services have been notified under the Public Service Guarantee Act so far.
- Mandatory iGOT Training for Employees
Instructions were issued to provide training to officers and employees via the iGOT (iGOT Karmayogi) platform, tailored to departmental requirements. It will be mandatory for every officer and employee to complete 1 to 3 training courses per month.
- ‘Reform Utsav’ Campaign
The Chief Secretary directed officials to compile information regarding departmental reforms, which will be showcased during the upcoming ‘Reform Utsav’ campaign.
- Registration on ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ Portal
Directives were issued to ensure 100% registration of youths aged 15 to 29 from state schools and colleges on the Union Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs’ ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (MY Bharat) portal. District coordinators and principals have been instructed to work in coordination with each other to achieve this.
