Governor Shri Deka Interacts with Students, Shares Mantras for Success

Students from Sainik School, Ambikapur, met and interacted with Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. On this occasion, the Governor inspired the students to make discipline, self-control, and hard work the foundation of their lives to achieve success.

  • Discipline is the Fundamental Basis of Success

Governor Shri Deka remarked that the students are fortunate to have the opportunity to study at an excellent educational institution like Sainik School. At Sainik School, students are taught the importance of discipline, punctuality, and physical and mental health alongside academics. He stated that discipline is the fundamental basis of success.

He noted that stress regarding studies, jobs, and careers is a major challenge in today’s times. To cope with stress, one must learn to be content with what one has. One should recognize one’s capabilities and act accordingly. Success is inevitable if one channels their aptitude and energy in the right direction while maintaining control over the mind.

  • Set a Goal and Strive to Achieve It with Dedication and Hard Work

The Governor emphasized that there is no substitute for hard work. If consistent effort is combined with aptitude, nothing can stop one from achieving success. He urged the students to set their goals and strive to achieve them with full dedication and hard work. He advised them to listen seriously to their teachers and parents but also to use their own reasoning and intellect when making decisions. He encouraged the students to always keep their ‘thinking process’ active. During the interaction, students asked the Governor various questions regarding his life, career, and public service.

Answering their questions with ease, the Governor explained the responsibilities of his constitutional office and shared experiences from his journey in public life.the students of Sainik School were also given a tour of Lok Bhavan. Teachers from Sainik School, Ambikapur, were also present on this occasion.
