- Instructions are given to provide quality medical education and health services by ensuring all arrangements are made in a timely manner
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla made a detailed review of the educational and medical arrangements of Sheopur and Singrauli Government Medical Colleges. He directed that all the necessary arrangements in both the colleges should be completed within the stipulated time frame and the operation should be ensured with high quality and vigilance. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed in detail the availability of faculty in the new Government Medical Colleges, recruitment of third grade (non-gazetted) employees, availability of medical equipment and furniture, progress of necessary procurement works, electricity and other basic facilities and arrangements for outsourced human resources.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed that the process of recruitment to all necessary posts including faculty should be speeded up. Timely availability of medical equipment, furniture and other resources should be ensured and appointment of outsourced staff, payment of wages and other necessary arrangements should be completed promptly. He said that all the work in the running of both the medical colleges should be completed within the stipulated time frame.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that Government Medical Colleges established in aspirational areas like Sheopur and Singrauli will play an important role in providing quality medical education to the local youth as well as strengthening regional health services. He directed to carry out regular monitoring of the construction and development works of both the colleges and to complete all necessary works on priority basis to provide better facilities to the students and patients. In the meeting Commissioner, Public Health and Medical Education Mr. Dhanaraju S, Director Medical Education Dr. Aruna Kumar, Additional Director Health Shri Manoj Kumar Sarayam, In-charge Dean Government Medical College Sheopur along with senior departmental officers were present.
