Youths of Sahu community are enhancing state’s pride in America: Shri Arun Sao
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao attended the Pratibha Samman ceremony organized in memory of the death anniversary of late Dau Uttam Sahu in Borai of Durg district on Sunday.
Addressing the ceremony, Shri Sao said, “The society and the country should move forward by following the path shown by their ancestors. A society that evolves with the times will lead in development.”
Reflecting on his recent visit to America, he said that he noted many young members of the Sahu community are bringing honor to both their society and the state through their talent and skills, thereby enhancing the community’s pride. He mentioned that he had the opportunity to meet many such youths during his trip.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao said in his address that Sahu community believes in community participation and moves forward in aligning with all the communities. Shri Sao emphasized on fulfilling the dreams of ancestors with collective efforts. Shri Sao assured for the gradually fulfillment of the demands put forth by the Sahu community. In the ceremony, Shri Sao presented mementoes and honored the talents of Sahu Samaj for their outstanding contribution in the field of art, education and culture.
Former Minister Shri Jageshwar Sahu and Smt. Ramshila Sahu also addressed the Pratibha Samman ceremony. In the program, Shri Jagmohan Sahu presented detailed information about the personality and deeds of the notable personality late Dau Uttam Sahu. Many social officers and public representatives including Durg District President of Sahu Samaj Shri Nandlal Sahu and Durg Tehsil President Shri Pusau Sahu were also present in the program.
