Dialogue organized under Bagh Divas Fortnight

  A dialogue program was organized as part of National Tiger Day fortnight in Government Excellent School. SDO of Kanha Tiger Reserve as the main speaker in this program. Ashish Pandey while addressing the students elaborated on the utility of tiger and other wildlife through PPT. He said that the tiger is not only a wildlife, but a symbol of the health of our forests. Principal Kalpana Namdev while appreciating this organization said that such interactions are very useful for the students. It develops a practical understanding of nature in students along with bookish knowledge. Akhilesh Upadhyay, Eco Club Master Trainer and in-charge of the Environmental Education Program, outlined the key utility of the tiger in the environmental ecosystem and its role in the food chain. Along with this, he introduced the students to the unique features of the world famous Kanha National Park and its management. The main objective of the program was to make students aware of wildlife conservation and environmental ecosystem. In the program, students of Eco Club School of Environmental Protection participated enthusiastically and took a pledge to protect wildlife. On this occasion NSS Eco club students of the school along with in-charge Praveen Agarwal were present. At the end of the program saplings were planted by students under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan.
