The impact of the state government’s work in the interest of farmers, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, is clearly visible in rural areas. The timely provision of agricultural inputs to farmers has given new impetus to agriculture. Farmers preparing for the Kharif season are receiving fertilizers and seeds through a simple and easy process, which has increased their enthusiasm and confidence.

Mr. Babu Singh, a farmer from Vijaypur village in the Katghora development block of Korba district, is one such farmer whose timely receipt of fertilizers and seeds has greatly facilitated his farming preparations. Mr. Singh, who cultivates approximately seven and a half acres of land, primarily grows paddy. Agriculture is his family’s primary source of livelihood, and he has been involved in farming for a long time.

As part of preparations for the Kharif season, he visited the Katghora Cooperative Society, where he purchased essential agricultural inputs. He reported that the process of obtaining fertilizers and seeds at the society was extremely simple and streamlined. He faced no difficulties and received the necessary supplies without any waiting time. The society’s staff also provided full support.

Mr. Singh stated that he received DAP, urea, and seeds on time, allowing farming preparations to proceed smoothly. Thanks to improved government arrangements, farmers no longer have to scramble for fertilizers and seeds. Ensuring adequate availability of agricultural inputs has increased satisfaction and confidence among farmers.

He said that the state government, understanding the needs of farmers, is continuously working in their interest. The timely availability of fertilizers and seeds is helping farmers plan their farming and increase production. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for his farmer-friendly initiative, Mr. Singh said that the government’s efforts have given farmers new energy and confidence in farming.
