 Farming became easier for farmer Laluram Baghel after getting fertilizers and seeds on time.

In line with Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s vision, the Sukma district administration has ensured adequate availability of fertilizers and improved seeds for farmers ahead of the Kharif season. Under the guidance of Collector Amit Kumar, arrangements have been made for the smooth supply of agricultural inputs to remote areas of the district, facilitating farmers’ timely preparation for cultivation.
Laluram
          Baghel, a progressive farmer from Ganjenar village in Sukma district, has directly benefited from this administration’s arrangements. He owns approximately 6 acres of agricultural land. He easily obtained 3 bags of DAP, 3 bags of urea, and 3 bags of potash as per his requirement from the Chhindgarh Cooperative Society. The timely availability of fertilizers and seeds has enabled him to prepare for the Kharif crop without any hassle. Farmer Laluram Baghel stated that timely receipt of agricultural inputs has made sowing easier, and he expects better yields. The administration is
constantly monitoring
          the interests of farmers in the rice-producing Sukma district. Along with ensuring uninterrupted supply of fertilizers and seeds, joint teams of administration and police are conducting regular inspections to stop black marketing, illegal storage and middlemen.

Due to the timely availability of fertilizers and seeds, farmers are engaged in farming with enthusiasm and they hope that in this Kharif season, along with better production, their income will also increase.
