Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi: With the prompt help of Dial-112, the life of a snakebite victim woman was saved.

The District Police’s Dial-112 team, demonstrating promptness and sensitivity, played a crucial role in saving the life of a woman bitten by a snake by transporting her to the hospital in a timely manner.
According to reports, at around 1 a.m., Dial-112 Gaurela Falcon-1 received a report of a woman bitten by a snake in Jamunia Tola, Dhanauli village. Upon receiving the information, Constable Ramdayal Aayam and driver Gopal Puri, posted at Dial-112, immediately rushed to the scene. Upon arriving, the team found that 55-year-old Sonakunwar Panika, a resident of Jamunia Tola, Dhanauli, had been bitten by a venomous snake while sleeping on the ground. Without delay, the Dial-112 team transported the victim, along with her family, to the district hospital in an ERV vehicle, where doctors immediately began treatment. Due to timely treatment, the woman’s condition is now normal and she is reported to be out of danger.
It is noteworthy that a young woman bitten by a snake in Dhanauli village was previously saved by the prompt assistance of Dial-112. The district police have appealed to citizens to take special precautions to prevent snakebites during the rainy season. They urged people to use cots or beds instead of sleeping on the ground, to use mosquito nets, and to immediately contact Dial 112 or the nearest health center in case of a snakebite, rather than wasting time on witchcraft or home remedies.
