 Good Governance Festival 2026: Public problem resolution camp organized in Khaliba Cluster

  • Instructions given for timely disposal of applications, 51 beneficiaries benefited from various schemes

Under the ambitious initiative of the state government, ‘Good Governance Festival 2026’, run under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, a public problem resolution camp was organized in the Gram Panchayat Khaliba cluster of Ambikapur Janpad Panchayat of Surguja district. The objective of the camp was to bring the administration to the doorstep of the people and ensure prompt resolution of their demands, problems and complaints. A large number of villagers from 28 Gram Panchayats falling under the cluster participated in the camp and submitted applications related to various departments.

Lundra MLA Mr. Prabodh Minj was the main attendee at the camp. He inspected stalls set up by various departments, inquired about the implementation of schemes, and instructed officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach as many eligible beneficiaries as possible. MLA Mr. Minj directly interacted with the villagers, listened to their problems, and directed the concerned officials to resolve the applications received within the stipulated timeframe and inform the applicants.

MLA Shri Prabodh Minj said that “Good Governance Festival” is an important government campaign, through which, under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the administration is personally reaching out to every village to listen to people’s problems and ensure their resolution. Urging villagers to openly voice their demands and concerns, he said the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of the schemes reach every eligible individual.

A total of 905 applications were received at the camp, of which 12 were resolved on the spot. Through stalls set up by various departments, villagers were informed about the government’s beneficiary-oriented schemes, and eligible beneficiaries were encouraged to take advantage of them.

A total of 51 beneficiaries were benefited by various departments in this camp organized under ‘Good Governance Festival-2026’. MNREGA job cards, new pension approval orders, new ration cards, Ayushman cards, soil health cards and leaflets related to the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana were distributed in the camp. Along with this, Swachhata Veer Samman letters were also given under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Annaprashan and Godhbharai programs were also organized by the Women and Child Development Department. District Panchayat President Mrs. Nirupama Singh, public representatives, officers and employees of various departments and a large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
