In Chhattisgarh, the average annual rainfall recorded so far is 257.0 mm.

According to the compiled information by the State Revenue and Disaster Management Department through the State-level Control Room, the average rainfall recorded in the state since June 1, 2024, is 248.5 mm. From June 1, 2024, to the morning of July 15, based on the rainfall data collected in various districts of the state, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 410.7 mm, while Surguja district has the lowest at 135.3 mm.

 Similarly, as per the information received from the State-level Flood Control Room, the average rainfall recorded from June 1 until now in different districts is as follows: Surajpur – 196.5 mm, Balrampur – 335.1 mm, Jashpur – 239.4 mm, Korea – 242.2 mm, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur – 198.4 mm. Additionally, Raipur – 218.1 mm, Balodabazar – 278.5 mm, Gariaband – 293.8 mm, Mahasamund – 203.8 mm, Dhamtari – 231.6 mm, Bilaspur – 322.8 mm, Mungeli – 308.0 mm, Raigarh – 322.6 mm.
