The Dhamtari district administration has taken a commendable initiative to give new wings to the dreams of young people passionate about serving the country. Under the guidance of the district administration, a free training camp has been successfully launched for local youth preparing for the 2026-27 Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army.
- The future is improving under the guidance of experts
This special training program, run by the District Employment and Self-Employment Guidance Center, is being conducted regularly at the Composite Building, Dhamtari, from May 7, 2026. Currently, 25 selected candidates from the district are taking advantage of this facility.
- Highlights of the training
In a hybrid mode, students are being taught by subject experts through both online and offline mediums. Special attention is being given to exam-critical subjects such as general knowledge, mathematics, and reasoning. Special sessions are being held at regular intervals to boost student morale in view of the upcoming online written examination (B.Sc.) in June 2026.
The goal of success and empowerment
is the district administration’s primary objective to recruit as many young people from the district as possible into the Indian Army. Often, talented young people from rural areas lag behind in written exams due to lack of resources or proper guidance. This free coaching program has become a powerful tool to bridge this gap. The administration’s goal is to equip young people not only physically but also mentally to excel, enabling them to achieve their goals without any financial burden.
This innovative initiative has emerged as a role model not only for Dhamtari but for the entire state. It is an excellent example of utilizing government resources for public benefit and youth empowerment.
