Korea to be lit with diyas; over 1.21 lakh ‘blessing lamps’ to be lit on September 17

  • The people of the district will express their gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his 25 years of public life, service and dedication.

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a grand “Aashirwad Ka Diya” program will be held in Korea district on September 17th. On this occasion, more than 1.21 lakh diyas will be lit across the district. Through these lightings, residents will express their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 25 years of public life, service, dedication, and public welfare.
On September 17th, at 7 p.m., lamps will be lit simultaneously at various gram panchayats, urban bodies, Amrit Sarovars, intersections, and prominent landmarks across the district. The district-level program will be held at the “Open Theatre, Jhumka, Gram Panchayat Odgi, Baikunthpur,” where a special lighting ceremony will be held with 10,000 diyas.
Along with the Baikunthpur and Sonhat district panchayat areas, widespread lamp lighting will also take place in the Baikunthpur, Shivpur-Charcha, and Patna urban areas. Along with 500 diyas in each gram panchayat, lamps will also be lit at Amrit Sarovar and other prominent places. Lamps will also be lit in all government and non-government institutions, as well as in the offices of corporations, boards, and corporations.
In this way, the “Light of Blessings” program will express the spirit of service, dedication, and public participation throughout the district. Lamps lit simultaneously from village to city will convey the message of district residents’ participation and collective resolve.

  • Appeal to the people of the district to participate in ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’

Collector Smt. Roktima Yadav and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Shri Yogendra Shrivas have appealed to the citizens of all sections including public representatives from the district to the village and ward level to participate in the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ program to be organized on 17th September. They have asked the people of the district to light a lamp in their homes as a mark of gratitude. He said that only with public participation can the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan be given a wider form. The ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ program will become a symbol of the spirit of service, dedication and public participation in Korea.
