Naunihal scholarship becomes hope for Bilaigarh girl

  • Education gets a new lease of life

When government welfare schemes reach those in need at the right time, they don’t just provide financial assistance, but also become the foundation for rebuilding shattered dreams. One such hopeful story has emerged from Jhumka village in Bilaigarh Block, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, Chhattisgarh, where the Naunihal Scholarship Scheme has provided a new impetus to the education of a daughter from a working class family.

  • Limited resources, unlimited dreams

Despite her family’s limited resources, Phuleswari Sahu, a resident of Jhumka village, wants to see her children advance in life by providing them with a better education. However, due to financial constraints, even the smallest needs related to their education often became a cause for concern.

  • Support from scholarship

The Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’s Naunihal Scholarship Scheme, run under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and the guidance of Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, proved to be a savior for this family.
Based on the eligibility of the worker families registered under the scheme, Phuleshwari Sahu’s daughter was directly awarded a scholarship of Rs. 3,000. This assistance proved extremely useful in purchasing her daughter’s notebooks, books, and other necessary study materials.
Mrs. Phuleshwari Sahu says that this Rs. 3,000 assistance from the government is not just a sum of money, but a support for her daughter’s bright future. This has given us the confidence that no matter the financial constraints, our daughter will continue her studies and fulfill her dreams. We are deeply grateful to the state government for this support.

  • The impact of the schemes is visible on the ground.

Under the Collector’s direction, the district administration is ensuring that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes reach the last person directly and promptly. Eligible labor families are being identified through the relevant departments and are being continuously linked to these schemes, so that no child is left behind in the race for education and development.
The Naunihal Scholarship Scheme is today giving wings to the dreams of children from countless labor families across the state, proving that with the support of a sensitive government, every challenge becomes easier.
