New Horizons for Children in Tamnar: 39 Students Selected via Adani Foundation’s Coaching Center

  • Initiative by Gare Pelma-3, Gare Pelma-2, and Pelma mining projects; 87 students selected for prestigious residential schools over three years.

The Adani Foundation—the social outreach arm of the Gare Pelma-3, Gare Pelma-2, and Pelma mining projects—has achieved remarkable success this year in its educational initiatives. Students from the Adani-run Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya coaching center in the Tamnar region delivered an outstanding performance in the 2025-26 academic session, securing admission to various prestigious residential schools.

A total of 39 students from the coaching center were selected this year, marking the best result to date. Among the selected students, 34 secured admission to Eklavya Model Residential Schools, one to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, three to Utkarsh Vidyalaya, and one to Sainik School.

Hailing from rural and tribal areas, these students achieved this milestone through hard work, dedication, and consistent practice. Operated by the Adani Foundation with the aim of ensuring access to quality education for children from remote villages, the coaching center is entirely free of charge; it provides students with regular classes, study materials, guidance, and practice examinations.

Milupara village in Tamnar has set a new benchmark for success this year, with 17 of its students being selected for various prestigious residential schools. Most of these children come from families of laborers. Despite facing economic and social challenges, their excellent performance proves that with the right guidance and opportunities, talent from rural areas can reach new heights.

This initiative by the Adani Foundation has been yielding consistently positive results over the past three years. Since 2023, a total of 87 students have secured admission to prestigious residential schools through this coaching program. These include institutions such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Sainik Schools, and Utkarsh Vidyalayas. This achievement reflects meaningful efforts to connect children from rural and tribal communities with quality education.

The success of the coaching center is attributed to the hard work of the students, the dedication of the teachers, the support of parents, and the sustained efforts of the Foundation team. This achievement by the selected students has fostered a positive atmosphere regarding education across the region and inspired other children to pursue and attain their own goals.

Recognizing education as a vital instrument for social development, the Adani Foundation works continuously to provide better opportunities for children. Through this initiative, students are not only gaining access to prestigious educational institutions, but awareness about education is also increasing within their families and communities.
