- Central committee meeting held in Mantralaya
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the programs under the Akhil Bharatiya Kalidas festival should be linked with activities based on the memories of eminent lyricists and writers of the region such as Kavi Shri Pradeep, Shri Krishna Saral, Shri Shivmangal Singh Suman and Shri Sharad Joshi. Senior artists, directors associated with theater got more opportunities to exhibit their art. The youth should also be preferentially included in the activities of the All India Kalidas celebrations.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing the outline of the programs proposed for the 68th Kalidas celebrations in the Ministry Chamber. The Chief Minister is the Chairman of the Central Committee of Celebrations. The members of the central committee of the ceremony attended the meeting. Kalidas festival will be held from 21st to 27th November.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Kalidas function is a prestigious event. In this, arrangements should be made so that the talents of the state get an opportunity and participate in various online and offline art competitions. Ekatmdham Omkareshwar should also be associated with the function and the partnership of music schools, universities should also be ensured. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was briefed on the outline of programs for the seven-day celebrations. He said that representatives of regional dialects and languages should also grace the ceremony. Performance of police band should also be ensured. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to ensure necessary arrangements for all the programmes.
Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Shivshekhar Shukla said that Mangal Kalash Yatra and Nandi cultural performance will be held on November 20 under Purva Rang. The National Painting and Sculpture Exhibition will be inaugurated by the guests on November 21, the opening day of the ceremony. There will also be a cultural performance. Renowned artists associated with classical music have been invited for this. The program will include National Research Symposium, Pandit Suryanarayan Vyas Memorial Lecture on November 22, Mahakavi Kalidas Memorial Lecture on November 23, Padmashri Wakankar Memorial Lecture and Sanskrit Dramas on November 24, Presentation of Sanskrit Kavi Samvay: and Hindi Drama on November 25, Sant Samagam on November 26 and Cultural Performance and Award Distribution on November 27.
On this occasion, the director of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy Dr. Govind Gandhi, MP Mr. Anil Firoziah, MLA Mr. Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mr. Rajesh Kushwaha, Mr. Roop Pamnani, Mr. Shripad Joshi, Officers of Educational Institutions, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anupam Rajan, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Sudam Khade and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
