Sharing of experiences is very important in strengthening the democratic system: Chief Electoral Officer Madhya Pradesh Shri Jha

  • An international conference on International Election Visitor Program was organized at Nirwa Sadan Madhya Pradesh
  • to discuss strengthening of democratic processes, innovation in election management, voter participation, effective use of technology and global best practices related to elections.

A one-day international conference on “International Election Visitors Programme” was held at Nirvana Sadan Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The conference was organized in collaboration with Indian Institute of International Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.

All the states of the country and representatives, experts and officials related to election management of many countries including America, Nepal, Mauritius participated online in the conference. Discussed global best practices related to strengthening democratic processes, innovation in election management, voter participation, effective use of technology and elections.

On this occasion Chief Electoral Officer Madhya Pradesh Shri Sanjiv Kumar Jha said that sharing experiences is very important in strengthening the democratic system. He emphasized the need for international cooperation and knowledge-sharing for a fair, transparent and credible electoral process.

The objective of the conference was to strengthen the independent, fair, transparent and reliable electoral system by sharing experiences related to the elections of different countries.

Joint Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Ram Pratap Singh Jadoun, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Surbhi Tiwari, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava and State Training Nodal Officer Mr. Rajesh Yadav, Mr. Anil Malviya along with India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore experts, officials, National Law University Research Scholar, National Level Master Trainer, State Level Master Trainer and professors of various colleges were present in the program. More students were present.
