- Won gold despite injury
The first Chhattisgarh State-Level Roller Sports Ranking Championship was successfully held at the skating ground of a private public school in Sarona, Raipur, on May 9th and 10th, 2026. In this competition, promising player Shivika Pandey from Bilaspur demonstrated her talent and indomitable courage, winning the state-level title.
- Overcoming injury to win gold
Shivika competed in the toy inline skates event for the 10-12 age group. She was seriously injured during the 400-meter race on May 9th, but she refused to give up and finished the race in her injured state, winning the bronze medal. The next day, despite the same injury and pain, Shivika performed exceptionally well in the 200-meter race, winning the gold medal and becoming the overall champion in her age group.
- Introduction and family

Shivika Pandey is a sixth-grade student at Birla Open Minds International School in Bilaspur and regularly trains at the Royal Skating Club in Bilaspur. Her family is overjoyed at her success. Shivika’s parents are medical professionals. Dr. Shweta Pandey is an Ayurvedic medical officer, and Dr. Vidya Bhushan Pandey (Head of Pediatrics) is posted at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital College in Bilaspur. It’s worth noting that Shivika herself is a Swarnaprashit (receiver of Ayurvedic immunity boosters). Her father, Dr. Vidya Bhushan Pandey, is actively involved in promoting children’s health by regularly organizing Swarnaprashana camps.
