- Health Department team conducts comprehensive checks to ensure the availability of clean and safe drinking water
South East Central Railway regularly monitors drinking water quality at stations to ensure passengers have access to clean, safe, and high-quality drinking water. As part of this initiative, a special drinking water quality inspection drive was conducted at Sakti Railway Station.
During the drive, the Health Department team inspected various drinking water points at the station, collected samples of the available water, and tested its quality. Alongside the quality checks, the team closely examined the cleanliness of the water points, the water distribution system, water availability, and the amenities provided for passengers.
This campaign was carried out under the guidance of General Manager Shri Tarun Prakash and the leadership of the Principal Chief Medical Director. The Health Department team focused on maintaining water quality in accordance with prescribed standards while also paying special attention to the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the drinking water points.

During the inspection, relevant officials and staff were given necessary instructions regarding the regular monitoring of the water supply system, the maintenance of hygiene, and the provision of safe, high-quality drinking water to passengers.
South East Central Railway continuously monitors drinking water quality, prioritizing passenger health and convenience. Through periodic special inspection drives at various stations, the railway assesses not only water quality but also the associated cleanliness and other related arrangements.
