- Special training was imparted on law, discipline, professional vigilance and inter-departmental coordination
National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics Academy) organized for the inspector level officers of NASIN Department at Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal concluded a two-week training program under the chairmanship of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Home Guard and Disaster Management, Bhopal Mr. Amit Sanghi. 65 Inspector Level Officers of Customs Department participated in this training program held from 31st August to 12th September.
On this occasion Shri Amit Singh Sanghi while addressing the trainees provided guidance on important topics like field work management, task management, administrative decision making process, law and order, crime investigation, discipline and effective coordination with police department.
He said that better coordination between various enforcement and law and order related departments, clear functioning and professional vigilance increases the effectiveness of government work. Officers can use the knowledge and experience gained during the training to achieve better results in their respective fields.
- Training on various subjects from law to personality development
During the training, the officers were imparted training on various important subjects including parade and discipline, weapon tactics, judicial procedure, human rights, professional vigilance, ethics and morality, criminology, personality development and human affairs, management and work-life balance.
Along with this, the officers were also apprised of the provisions of the new criminal laws like Indian Judicial Code (BNS), Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) and Indian Evidence Act (BSA) so that they can work with effective understanding of the laws in their jurisdiction. Along with this, special emphasis was also laid on developing better coordination and mutual understanding between various enforcement agencies.
The purpose of this training program organized by the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy was to further strengthen the legal understanding, discipline, professional vigilance, leadership ability and work management skills of NASIN (Customs and Indirect Taxes) Department officers.
Deputy Director, Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal Shri Ramji Srivastava, Mrs. Renu Damor (IRS), Assistant Director Training Mrs. Rashmi Pandey, Assistant Director Mrs. Yasmin Zahra along with senior officers, staff and officers and staff of NASIN Department were present on the concluding occasion of the training.
Through such training programs organized by Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal for officers of various departments, continuous work is being done towards strengthening law, discipline, leadership, professional vigilance and inter-departmental coordination.
