Vikramotsav 2026 was awarded the prestigious honor of Government Event of the Year (Gold Award) under the BITA Awards 2026 at the Hindustan 2.0 National Thought Camp and Expo organized by the International Convention of Event Industry in Dehradun on July 15 and 16. The broadcast of the event during Vikramotsav 2026 set a new record in the field of digital outreach and community engagement. According to the official report, activities related to the organization reached a total of more than 17.72 crore people between February 7 and March 24, 2026. While 47.85 lakh people were reached through official social media and live streams, a digital reach of over 17.24 crore was recorded through crowd-sourced content and various hashtags.

Starting from Vikramotsav 2026, a specially planned Jal Ganga Conservation Mission was organized for the protection and conservation of the very special water element in the Panch Mahabhutas, which was held on the occasion of Srishti Nirman Diwas Pratipada. This 139-day event from February 12 to June 30, 2026 will be a unique celebration of cultural, social and economic activities across India and the country and the world. Its first phase was completed on the occasion of Mahashivratri with the Aaradhana of Shivotham Mahadev by renowned musician Pritam. The second phase was completed from March 19 to June 30, 2026 under Jal Ganga Conservation Mission. More than 4000 artists performed in more than 41 multifaceted activities.
