Vision of ‘Digital India’ Comes Alive Through Rangoli at Ranjita Stadium

Under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign), Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Digital India’ was brought to life through a captivating Rangoli at Jashpur’s Ranjita Stadium. Created through a unique blend of colors and creativity, this massive Rangoli artistically depicted the concept of an empowered, self-reliant, and modern India driven by digital technology. Alongside themes of digital connectivity and e-governance, the Rangoli also highlighted messages regarding Indian culture, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.

The event’s chief guest, Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, visited Ranjita Stadium to view the Rangoli and participated by lighting lamps around it. The glow of the lamps further enhanced the visual appeal of the Rangoli, reflecting the transforming face of Digital India. MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat was also present on the occasion.

Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, ‘Digital India’ has accelerated development and good governance across the country. The expansion of technology has brought government services within the reach of citizens and made facilities in sectors such as education, health, and banking far more convenient and accessible. He remarked that digital connectivity is not merely a means of technological progress but a powerful link connecting the last person in the country to the mainstream of development. Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘Digital India’ is playing a pivotal role in building a self-reliant and developed India.

The message ‘Digital India’ was prominently inscribed at the center of the Rangoli. A Wi-Fi symbol depicted above it showcased the country’s growing digital connectivity and internet accessibility. Images of computer and cloud technologies depicted digital services, online information, and modern technical resources, while images of mobile phones and government buildings illustrated e-governance and the delivery of government services to citizens via digital channels.

The Rangoli featured an image of the map of India held between two hands, symbolizing a nation empowered by technology and the spirit of bringing every citizen into the mainstream of development. Digital lines drawn in various colors across the map represented the interconnection of different parts of the country through technology and communication.

Additionally, motifs of green leaves and plants conveyed the message that environmental conservation and sustainable development are just as important as modern progress.

The message ‘Connected India, Stronger India’ inscribed beneath the Rangoli highlighted the vision of building an empowered nation through digitally connected citizens. Earthen lamps lit around the Rangoli symbolized Indian culture, knowledge, light, and positivity. This unique blend of colors and lamps conveyed a message of bridging the digital divide through the light of digital awareness and moving forward towards new opportunities.

Created at the Ranjita Stadium, this Rangoli effectively showcased the concepts of digital connectivity, technological empowerment, e-governance, good governance, environmental conservation, and Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) within a single artwork.

Public representatives and officials—including Municipal Council President Mr. Arvind Bhagat, Janpad Panchayat President Mr. Gangaram Bhagat, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, and Zila Panchayat CEO Mr. Abhishek Kumar—were present on the occasion.
