technologies and enhance their employability by bridging the gap between academic
knowledge and industry requirements.

Coordinator, Dr. Anurag Singh, who shared the genesis behind the program and how
it was conceptualised. He further briefed the participants about the different activities
planned under the program for the next 45 days. Dr. Santosh Kumar, another track
coordinator of the program, highlighted the growing impact of Generative Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and its applications in various aspects of daily life. This was followed
by address by Professor K.G. Srinivasa, Dean (Academics), who highlighted the
importance of the VT programme in shaping the students’ problem-solving abilities
and preparing them for future professional challenges. He urged students to focus on
learning and utilize this programme to unlock future career opportunities. Dr.
Mithilesh Kumar Chaube, Dean (Research and Innovation), IIIT-Naya Raipur,
emphasized the core values and learning outcomes associated with emerging trends
and technologies. He encouraged the participants to make the most of this
opportunity and wished them a successful future ahead. Dr. P.P. Paltani, Former

utilize their vacation time wisely to learn new skills that can significantly enhance
their employability.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students from various
institutes across the state. The VT programme marks a significant step by IIIT-Naya
Raipur in building capacity and nurturing technical talent among aspiring engineers
from the region.
