The Government of India has established wage rates for rural workers under the Vikas Bharat Rozgar eva Aajeevika Guarantee Mission Grameen (VB-JIRAMJI), which will provide financial assistance to workers working in rural areas. Mrs. Dhaneshwari Sahu, a resident of Bevarti village in the Kanker development block, stated that she previously received a daily wage of ₹261 under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA). Now, under the Vikas Bharat Rozgar eva Ajeevika Guarantee Mission Grameen, she will receive ₹300 per day.
She stated that the increased wage rate will provide economic support to rural workers and make it easier to meet their family’s daily needs. She expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai for this initiative, stating that this government decision is proving beneficial for rural workers.
