6,331 beneficiaries from Raipur South Assembly constituency benefit from ‘Seva Setu’ camp

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government’s public welfare schemes and services are reaching citizens directly through ‘Seva Setu’. A total of 6,331 beneficiaries availed benefits from various schemes at the assembly-level ‘Seva Setu’ camp held at the Maharashtrian Teli Samaj Bhavan in Ashwini Nagar, Raipur South Assembly constituency. In addition to providing services from various departments at a single location, documents regarding scheme benefits and approvals were distributed to 180 beneficiaries.

MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal attended the camp and inspected the stalls set up by various departments. He interacted with beneficiaries to gather information about the benefits and facilities they were receiving. MP Shri Agrawal stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government’s highest priority is to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach the last person in society. Through ‘Seva Setu’, the administration is reaching the citizens’ doorsteps. Accessing services from multiple departments at one location saves people’s time and ensures the prompt resolution of their issues. He instructed officials to ensure that every eligible person receives the benefits of these schemes with a sensitive approach.

Raipur South MLA Shri Sunil Soni inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp. At a camp organized for the convenience of citizens from 17 wards falling under Zones 4, 5, and 6 of the Raipur Municipal Corporation, MLA Mr. Soni inspected stalls set up by various government departments and inquired about the implementation of schemes and the benefits being provided to beneficiaries.

MLA Mr. Soni instructed officials to ensure that every eligible citizen visiting the camp receives the benefits of government schemes in accordance with their eligibility. He emphasized that no eligible beneficiary should be deprived of the benefits of government schemes. The objective of the ‘Seva Setu’ camp is to spare citizens the hassle of making rounds to multiple offices by providing access to various government schemes and services at a single location.

  • 279 Beneficiaries Benefit from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

A total of 279 beneficiaries benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at the camp; among them, 15 received building permission approval letters on-site. Thirty-six beneficiaries benefited regarding ration cards, with 15 receiving their cards at the camp. Citizens also availed themselves of other municipal services, including tap connections, pension schemes, marriage registration, and trade licenses.

  • Relief for Flood Victims Alongside Income, Caste, and Domicile Certificates

Through the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, 943 beneficiaries received income certificates, 71 received caste certificates, and 146 received domicile certificates. Additionally, 292 beneficiaries received flood disaster relief. At the camp venue, 40 income certificates, 20 caste certificates, and 20 domicile certificates were issued, and flood relief cheques were distributed to 60 beneficiaries.

  • Worker Families Benefit from Various Schemes

A large number of worker families benefited from various schemes offered by the Labour Department. A total of 1,153 beneficiaries benefited from the scheme providing financial assistance for free uniforms and books/notebooks to the children of construction workers; 328 benefited from the Chief Minister’s Naunihal Scholarship Scheme; 236 from the Chief Minister’s Bicycle Assistance Scheme; and 195 from the Chief Minister’s Worker Tool Assistance Scheme.

Additionally, eligible beneficiaries availed the benefits of other labor welfare schemes, including the Chief Minister’s Construction Worker Safety Equipment Assistance Scheme, Minimata Mahtari Jatan Scheme, Chief Minister’s Noni-Babu Meritorious Education Assistance Scheme, and Chief Minister’s Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme.

  • Health Check-ups and ‘Annaprashan’ Ceremony for Infants

Eighty-four beneficiaries benefited from the Women and Child Development Department’s ‘Noni Suraksha Yojana’ (Girl Child Protection Scheme), with 10 receiving benefits directly at the camp. The Health Department conducted health check-ups for citizens and issued Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries. The Women and Child Development Department organized the ‘Annaprashan’ ceremony (first solid food feeding ritual) for infants. Free bus travel passes were issued to senior citizens, and driving licenses were provided to eligible applicants.

Public representatives, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Sambit Mishra, officials and employees from the Municipal Corporation and various government departments, and a large number of beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
