MATS School of Engineering & Information Technology is organized an expert lecture on “Rain Water Harvesting” for students of all branches at 2:00 PM today at the Conference Hall.
The expert lecture is being delivered by Dr. K. Panigrahi, CEO & Technical Director, Centre for Ground Water Recharge (CGWR), Raipur. The session focused on the importance of rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, water conservation, and sustainable management of water resources. Dr. Panigrahi shared his valuable expertise and practical insights with the students.

The programme is being organized under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. K. P. Yadav, Director General Mr. Priyesh Pagariya, Registrar Mr. Gokul Nanda Panda, and Director, MATS School of Engineering & Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Brijesh Patel.
The expert lecture is being conducted by the Department of Mining Engineering under the leadership of HoD Dr. Ghanshyam Shakar. The programme aims to create awareness among students about responsible water conservation, rainwater harvesting practices, and groundwater sustainability.
The lecture is providing students with an opportunity to interact with an expert and gain practical knowledge about effective approaches to water conservation and groundwater recharge.
