
Issues directives to senior officials at the Mantralaya for improved health services
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal held a crucial review meeting with Health Department officials today at the Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan) in Naya Raipur. The meeting involved a detailed discussion on the current state of health services in the state. The availability of medicines in hospitals, cleanliness arrangements, and other facilities provided to patients were closely reviewed. While gathering district-wise information from officials, the Minister emphasized the need to ensure the timely delivery of essential medicines and medical facilities to remote and rural areas, preventing any inconvenience to the general public.

During the review meeting, the Health Minister issued several important directives aimed at making services more efficient and citizen-centric. Instructions were given to ensure impeccable cleanliness in hospitals, guarantee the adequate availability of essential medicines, and implement action plans to ensure patients receive quality treatment. Additionally, directives were issued regarding medical equipment maintenance, staff attendance, and the need for sensitive and empathetic behavior towards patients. Officials were clearly warned that negligence in health services at any level would not be tolerated and that regular monitoring would be conducted.
