Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hosted a lunch in honour of the newly appointed Chief Justice of Jabalpur High Court, Shri Suresh Kumar Kait. After taking oath as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday, Shri Kait reached the Chief Minister’s residence in the afternoon. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the Chief Justice with a bouquet. On this occasion, Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, other invited judges, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, and senior officers of the Indian Administrative and Police Service were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored Chief Justice Shri Kait by presenting a bronze statue of Raja Bhoj to him and his wife Smt. Saroj Kait as a memento. On this occasion, bronze statues of Raja Bhoj were also presented as souvenirs to Acting High Court Judge Shri Sanjeev Sachdeva and Governor Shri Patel.
It may be noted that Justice Shri Kait is originally a resident of the Kaithal district of Haryana. He has served as a judge since 12 April 2013. Justice Shri Kait served in the Delhi High Court from 12 October 2018, followed by the Telangana High Court from 12 April 2016 to 11 October 2018.
