The effective implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is bringing positive changes to the lives of women in Jashpur district. Under the Prime Minister’s guidance and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s commitment to good governance, public welfare schemes are being implemented with priority in the state , ensuring timely benefits reach every eligible family.

So far , more than 154,000 women in Jashpur district have been provided free gas connections under this scheme. This has relieved women from the smoke of traditional stoves and made their daily lives safer and more convenient .
Recently, gas connections were distributed to eligible beneficiaries during a program organized in Vikaskhand Bagicha. On this occasion, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the government. Mrs. Kranti Yadav, a resident of Bagicha, said that now she has got relief from eye irritation and breathing problems caused by stove smoke , due to which she is able to cook food in a clean environment. Meanwhile , Mrs. Phulmati Nagesia of village Madiya said that earlier it was difficult to cook food on wood stove and the house used to be filled with smoke , but now with the gas connection, cooking has become easy and clean.

This scheme is not only improving women’s health but also saving them time and labor. It also plays a significant role in environmental protection . Its impact is clearly visible in Jashpur district , where women’s quality of life has improved and they feel more empowered.
