Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, public problem resolution camps have been effectively launched under the Good Governance Festival 2026, aimed at bringing good governance to every citizen of the state. Through this initiative, villagers’ problems are being resolved quickly, ensuring the benefits of government schemes reach the last person.
In this sequence, the district’s first camp was inaugurated in the village panchayat of Maharajganj in the Balrampur development block, where a large number of villagers from several surrounding panchayats participated. Applications received through the registration counter were processed on priority, providing relief to people on the spot.

In the camp, detailed information about the schemes was given by various departments including Health, Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry by setting up stalls.
Collector Shri Rajendra Katara and public representatives inspected the stalls and took stock of the arrangements. During this, housing certificates were distributed to beneficiaries and Ayushman cards were also provided.
Under health services, a mobile medical unit conducted free health checkups for villagers, including blood pressure and sugar testing, and conducted preliminary tests for various ailments, and distributed medicines. Additionally, baby showers for pregnant women and Annaprashan (cooking food) ceremonies for infants were held, raising awareness about maternal and child health.

As per the wishes of Chief Minister Shri Sai, not only are the problems being resolved in the camps, but people are also being made aware that instead of resorting to witchcraft, they should get treatment in hospitals and avail the benefits of government health facilities.
The camp also witnessed several inspiring examples. Mr. Gautam Sardar, a resident of Radhakrishna Nagar, found an immediate solution to his problem of adding his children’s names to his ration card. He reported that the long-pending work was completed immediately at the camp, saving him unnecessary hassles.
Similarly, under the “My Story, My Words” initiative, Mrs. Archana Singh of Pachawal village shared her inspiring journey of becoming self-reliant by joining the Bihan Yojana. Joining a self-help group, she secured a loan and established a rice mill. Today, she successfully operates it, inspiring other women to find employment.

The Public Relations Department’s Janman magazine is also proving to be an effective medium for public awareness. Through it, villagers are receiving simple information about eligibility, benefits, and application processes for schemes, encouraging people to benefit from the schemes.
Public representatives stated that through Good Governance Festival, the government is reaching out to the village level and ensuring prompt resolution of problems. Furthermore, the expansion of infrastructure in the area—such as road construction and playground approval—is giving new impetus to development.
Good Governance Festival 2026 is strengthening trust between the state administration and the public, where solutions, dialogue, and development are being seen together. This initiative is propelling the state toward new heights of good governance and public welfare.
