Implementing Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai’s pledge for good governance, a massive public grievance resolution camp was organized in Devrikala Gram Panchayat, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. Organized under the Good Governance Festival 2026, villagers from 14 Gram Panchayats participated in the camp, where the administration not only heard complaints but also distributed benefits on the spot. During the camp, various departments actively participated, providing benefits to beneficiaries through beneficiary-oriented schemes. The Revenue Department distributed rights records, land records, and farmer books to nine beneficiaries. Similarly, five families were handed keys and certificates for their dream homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). The Transport Department granted driving licenses to 14 villagers on the spot. The Women and Child Development Department organized baby showers for five pregnant women and Annaprashan ceremonies for four children, and enrolled 17 girls under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Big nets and carats were distributed by the Fisheries Department, TB nutrition kits were given by the Health Department and assistive devices (sticks) were given to the disabled.
‘MLA’s blunt words – Low voltage and drinking water problems should be resolved immediately’
MLA Shri Pranav Kumar Marpachi, the chief guest of the program, gave strict instructions to the officials present in the camp. He said that the basic problems of the villagers, especially low voltage and clean drinking water, should be resolved on priority basis. He directed to review the pending cases of the Revenue Department and settle them within the time limit.

MLA Shri Marpachi said that the government is not running only from offices, but from the village Chaupals. Initiatives like paddy purchase at Rs 3100 per quintal and Mahatari Vandan Yojana are proof of the fact that the farmers and the poor of the state are our priority.
“Collector’s Call – Take Advantage of Schemes and Cooperate in the Census”
Collector Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi informed that 10 camps are being organized in rural areas and 3 in urban bodies to cover all the panchayats of the district. She appealed to the villagers to take maximum advantage of these camps. Also, underscoring the importance of the upcoming census work, she urged the villagers to provide accurate information to the enumerators and assured them that their information will remain completely confidential.
This camp in Deorikala has emerged as an excellent example of the government’s sensitivity towards good governance and administrative activism, where, along with solving problems, successful efforts were made to reach development schemes to the last person. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Ms. Samira Paikra, Vice President Raja Upendra Bahadur Singh, and Superintendent of Police Mr. Manoj Khilari also addressed the villagers. District Panchayat CEO Mr. Mukesh Raote, along with district and block level officers from various departments, were present at the camp.
