As part of the statewide Good Governance Festival, a Samadhan Camp was organized today in the village panchayat Mudhipar of Pithora development block in Mahasamund district. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister and District In-Charge Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel attended the event as the chief guest. Member of Parliament Mrs. Roopkumari Chaudhary and Basna MLA Mr. Sampat Agarwal were also present on the occasion.
At the camp, Food Minister Mr. Baghel and guests inspected the stalls set up by various departments. During the visit, Minister Mr. Baghel inquired about the response to the applications received by the departments and directed officials to ensure prompt and quality resolution of public issues. He urged officials to prioritize the complaints and demands received at the camp and ensure timely resolution of pending cases. A large number of villagers from 18 villages in Mahasamund district gathered at the camp. The villagers enthusiastically gathered to learn about the government’s public welfare schemes and submitted applications regarding their problems and demands at various department stalls.
Addressing the camp, Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel stated that the state government is committed to promptly resolving public issues. He stated that adequate availability of fertilizers has been ensured for farmers and advised them to collect fertilizers on time. He directed Agriculture Department officials to ensure that farmers do not face any difficulties.
Minister Mr. Baghel also placed special emphasis on the arrangements at Anganwadi centers and instructed officials to conduct regular surprise inspections. He said that continuous monitoring of the nutritional diet, health facilities, and other services provided to children and women at Anganwadi centers is essential. It is the responsibility of all officials to ensure that children receive the proper benefits of government schemes. He said that the objective of Good Governance Festival is to establish direct communication between the government and the public and to quickly resolve problems.
MP Mrs. Roopkumari Chaudhary stated that the central and state governments are continuously working for the upliftment of villages, the poor, farmers, women, and youth. She added that through Good Governance Festival, the benefits of government schemes are reaching the general public directly in rural areas. She appealed to villagers to take maximum advantage of government schemes and openly express their problems and needs to the administration. She stated that public representatives and administrative staff are working together for the development of the region. Continuous efforts are being made to improve roads, drinking water, electricity, education, and health facilities in villages. MP Mrs. Chaudhary encouraged women to join self-help groups to become self-reliant and encouraged youth to take advantage of self-employment schemes.
Basna MLA Mr. Sampat Agarwal stated that the government’s intention is to resolve public problems at the village level, eliminating the need for people to run around offices. He added that the Samadhan Camp is becoming a strong medium for building trust between the government and the public. On this occasion, Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh, Superintendent of Police Shri Prabhat Kumar, District CEO Shri Hemant Nandanwar, District President Smt. Usha Dhritlahare, District Vice President Shri Brahmanand Patel along with local public representatives and a large number of beneficiaries were present.
Various departments set up stalls at the camp to provide information about government schemes. Villagers were provided with information on schemes offered by the Revenue, Agriculture, Panchayat and Rural Development, Women and Child Development, Health, Food, Education, and Social Welfare departments. Certificates, approval letters, and other benefits were distributed on the spot to many beneficiaries. A large number of villagers, farmers, women self-help group members, and officials and employees from various departments were present. Over 1,600 applications related to public problems and demands were received at the camp, which are being resolved on the spot. On this occasion, nutrition kits, Annaprashan (food feeding), baby showers, tricycles for four disabled individuals, ownership leases, and benefits from various public welfare schemes were provided to beneficiaries.
