- Governor participated in International Yoga Camp
Governor Shri Ramen Deka attended the yoga camp organized on International Yoga Day at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University today as the chief guest. The Governor read Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message on International Yoga Day and participated in a mass yoga practice.

In his address, the Governor extended his heartfelt greetings on the 12th International Yoga Day and said that it is a matter of joy that the entire state of Chhattisgarh is spreading the message of health, balance, and positivity through mass yoga practice on this historic occasion. He wished all the people of the state a healthy, happy, and prosperous life.

Mr. Deka urged the people of the state to incorporate yoga into their lifestyle, make it a habit to practice yoga daily, and to encourage their children to adopt this habit as well, which will improve their physical and mental health and help them become good citizens of the country in the future. He said that yoga plays an important role in a person’s overall development by strengthening not only the body but also the mind and emotions.

On this occasion, Mr. Deka gave the message of environmental protection by planting trees in the university campus.
