Keeping in mind the convenience and transparency of citizens, the Raipur Development Authority (RDA) has made its property booking process completely online. Now, without visiting the office, interested citizens will be able to obtain information about properties and apply and book online through the digital platform available on the authority’s website, without having to visit the office.
In the first phase, the Authority has made approximately 121 residential and commercial properties available for online booking. These include properties in the Authority’s major projects, including Kamal Vihar and Raobhata. Residential flats, residential and commercial plots are available in Kamal Vihar, while commercial properties are available for booking in Raobhata.
The Authority has also constructed residential properties for the economically weaker and low income group beneficiaries, so that housing can be provided to citizens of every class as per their need and capacity.
With the online booking feature, beneficiaries will now be able to pay maintenance fees online from the comfort of their homes through the website. This will eliminate the need for citizens to visit the office and make services more convenient, timely, and transparent.
Raipur Development Authority Chairman Mr. Nande Sahu stated that the Authority’s objective is to provide modern, transparent, and public-friendly services to citizens. He stated that the online booking system will save time, simplify the process, and ensure transparency and ease in property allocation. The convenience of digital payments will provide beneficiaries with faster and better services. He urged citizens to make maximum use of this online system.
The Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Avnish Kumar Sharan, stated that the property booking process had been suspended for a long time. Now, all available properties have been made live on the online portal, enabling citizens to book properties in a transparent, quick, and convenient manner. He added that the Authority’s goal is to digitize as many services as possible to provide citizens with seamless, simple, and transparent services.
This initiative by the Raipur Development Authority is a significant step towards strengthening digital governance and making citizen services more effective, transparent, and accessible. The convenience of online application, booking, and digital payment will make the entire process of property application, payment, and allocation simpler, faster, and more transparent than before.
